Closed but remembered dearly

I have grown into cafe life with ease as Brighton and Hove are relaxed places and I have had the privilege, through photography, of making friends with like minded people on the edge of professional life as photo-journalist

There is an irony here. 🙂 I have, over a four or five year period, met one chap regularly when he is home. Coffee and Tea are our choices and we have visited many cafes. All good so far, but we have noticed a trail of closures of cafes that matches the trail of our visits.

This venue was a licensed public house that sold good tea, coffee and food. It was always relaxed, had pleasant staff and a haphazard decor that warmed my feelings.

It happened to be the third on our coffee trail of doom. ;(
