This is a favourite of mine. It is a dominant building and grabs the skyline with good effect
I need to wander more around the outskirts of Croydon (and other conurbations for that matter) and take in its sense of being. Each area owes a little sentiment to the people who designed it. I feel that this side of design is not really recognised. That is not trying to be self righteous in a pontificating way as my generation have managed to build modern day slums by allowing profit to be the driver for social housing, but the initial beauty of an area is slowly squashed out of a place without even caring for its demise.
