Not a romantic moment as I was on my own waiting to collect someone
Flames are difficult to capture and with little real photographic control on an iPhone results are vary variable for macro. (This is an extreme situation – close up, very little light.)
80 photographs later just one is nearly usable.
When I get the opportunity I’ll return with time on my side and a camera.
This is the bar of the candle photograph! Until about a year ago there were two of these bars in Brighton, well one in Brighton and the second on the edge of Hove.
Both had a very relaxed feeling to them and had a decor that was eclectic and fitted my mindset nicely as a place to meet friends. When they are busy it was still had a relaxed feeling with tables packed and still room to move around.
Unfortunately the Hove affair closed, so London Road it is.
