I like concrete structures. Many criticise them for looking ugly and dirty. Ugly I can cope with but dirty is unfair: it is a two factor problem. Poor detailing and maintenance

When I recognised a photograph was here it was because of the mixed perspective. I found it difficult to read to start with. It’s the flattening of a 3d scene onto a flat surface that causes the disturbance.
