Last perhaps of Portsmouth

My time in Portsmouth is coming to an end. My feelings towards it have changed over the two years I have been there

I only knew Portsmouth as a visitor and that was around Southsea Seafront and Gunwharf Quays.

When I started going regularly I did have a little free time during the day and started to explore and walk all over the place.

At first the old high street – Commercial Road seemed dull and boring, and yes it has had its day – style wise, but the variety of people is interesting.

I expect footfall suffered from the homogeneous standard shopping outlet near by.

If you know the two shopping areas it won’t come as a surprise but different people frequent each.

This photograph is not supporting evidence of either; it is just a cafe that I like, well liked as it has now closed. (Earlier blog.)

I have watched people all over the place study or work, it matters not, but concentration can be seen here. Well two out of three is a pass 🙂
