Emergency Services

My life is very predictable: getup, go to work, take photographs when I can, go home and do stuff. All sprinkled with eating, drinking, joking and on whole I do not worry about my personal safety.

This is not the case for the emergency services. These chaps and chapesses leave home to an unpredictable day but set out with the intention of helping others – yes, I have needed them to help me at times when I have been completely unable to do anything about my plight.

I thank them, not by name, but as fellow people – humanist.
