I am guilty, but vary aware
I spend a lot of time walking through city and towns main streets and I always take note of street people. It hurts me to say that is as far as it goes.
I have purposely avoided taking photographs of people living on the street as they still have dignity that I don’t want to offend.
The last two or three days in Brighton I have seen members of the public talking to these people. Which has inspired me.
However, I know the outline of this but not the detail, so wary: it is illegal to by food and give it to street people in … I’ll check what streets.
This photograph is purposely difficult to read: it’s a person asleep in the town centre. His/her head is behind the backpack.
