Our garden has become a Mecca for finding small creatures by little people
A little chap here loves the garden and I am not sure whether it’s because he is; closer to the ground, very inquisitive or has better eye sight than me, but he finds creatures all over the place AND loves handling them. I try to inculcate gentleness and on the whole it works.
I have the job of photographing them as a natural historian and finding out more to fuel his imagination.
Today I was floored by his question: “how do slugs poo if they haven’t got a bum?”.
