On an early morning cycle ride I stopped to view the surrounding country side as the coronavirus outbreak and being furloughed has created time
In an unexpected way coronavirus has created time: not all in the right places though but with an adjustment that now shows me there is time for ‘me’ in everyday.
I have walked the paths in this area and enjoy the open fields and the farm life that inhabits the fields. This fence is great. It wiggles its route across the field with rhythm that bounces in itself into the distance.
The spire in the distance is from a monastery that being there for approximately 150 years is quite young. I live closer to it than where I am standing in this photograph and have the pleasure of the bell chiming at 00:30 for a call to prayer, or is your should be in bed’ reminder and in the morning.
It has a timeless meaning for me, which I enjoy for it simple mono-tune with no frills.
