The established gardens at Leonardslee are only 10 minutes away from me. They were closed and let to go to waste for nine or so years. They were taken over several years ago and worked on to restore them to their former glory.
Spring time this year they reopened after nearly two years of work. This Christmas they have organised an illuminated walk: which in my opinion was very entertaining with a spectacular main focal attraction.
During the time I walked this section and had to stand still to photograph I heard nothing but heart felt praise for the scene of the ‘moon over the lake’ scene.
A nice touch in the woods was the sound of wild wolf’s.
