Shock horror – guess

I sat down and felt a little strange quite quickly, I was not sure why … then it dawned on me …

The two people opposite me … ded ded der! were reading from flat things that did not glow! They were as thick as … well … l struggled here to remember ah! No … I am there … telephone directories. There was a flicking movement every so often, but not left or right or up or down but considered flicks, and no pings.

Yes l know it’s a book! I was warmed to think that there were still people, even young people who enjoyed the tactile sensation of using a book.
