This was once a part of a beautiful landscape view looking towards the South Downs
The creation of this earth bund appears to have taken no notice of the public footpaths that cross the land.
After a number of months a huge crossing slot was cut through the bunds to allow access to the public footpaths.
The 23 acre site is being developed into a training site for Cross Country Schooling facility.
Work has stopped due to an alleged breach of condition 4 of DC/18/1638 (materials) and works to public footpath. Due date for resolution 13/07/2020.
It will be interesting to see if the public right of way stays as is and how a cross country schooling facility works around it. Traffic lights?
