These people where incredibly industrious but on the hit rate I witnessed at a peak time could not make a living from it
(Film below)Having lunchtime chuggers in East Croydon High Street is a fairly common event but this was akin to tag-chugging. One would dart this way, another that. If someone managed a diversionary tack-tick another chugger would spring past to sweep up. This all goes to increase their hit rate but if salary is commissioned based I fear they would go hungry.
It’s not a job for everyone as constant rejection would destroy my sole let alone leave me with a feeling of daily rejection.
Here’s to those folk who do it for a living.
