I happen to see a funny side to returning to find just a wheel
I do feel sorry for those in this situation particularly as their return journey has just been scuppered.
The funny side is the actions I think I would take when I turned the corner to not find my bike where I left it. Loud surprise! Shock! Incongruity … WTF … this would all be dressed in a range of facial expressions and hand gestures that could be seen from around corners and down the road.
